This Friday and Saturday sees a sample and deadstock sale taking place in Manchester City Centre. Precise location is 20 Dale Street Northern Quarter, Manchester M1 1EZ. There will be a range of brands of offer with limited samples and deadstock from the likes of Carhartt, Saucony, Veras, New Balance, Vans, Stan Ray, Edwin, Patagonia, Buddy, Manastash, Reigning Champ, Stussy, Alife and more.
We were invited to take part but not having a great deal of deadstock ourselves means we'll make an appearance on the Friday with a few bits on offer. However, on the SATURDAY we decided we'd offer a new titfer; the 'Choc-Orange' Weir, a little differently this year and via this event only. Being online only we don't normally get the opportunity to offer them differently so that's why we've done this.
The usual rules will apply with this one still, just 50 available, no more no less, strictly one per person, first come, first served. That's the deal, that's how it is. In the event that any are left over they will go online at a later date.
We've already been inundated with emails asking if one can be saved or sold to them early, as they can't make the event. The answer to that simply is NO. Most of our customers will know how this works by now. Also this is one of a number of hats this winter, as per previous years - including stockist exclusives and specials and there are around a dozen or more colourways still to arrive over this winter, so fear not if you can't/don't get this one, there's plenty more coming!
Please note : we will also be offering a limited number of the forthcoming Twin Peaks inspired Black Lodge and The Shining inspired Room 237 hats on the day too. These WILL however, also be available online too over the coming weeks.
Once again, in the interest of fairness all the hats are strictly one hat per person. No more. We hope things won't get too silly, but we will have measures in place to ensure they don't.
FRIDAY : we'll be there for a bit selling some very limited numbers of deadstock, these will be strictly random sizes only of older/archive product like apparel, footwear and random things.
The new Weirs will definitely NOT be available on the Friday so please don't ask for them. Please!
SATURDAY - We will be selling the said 3 hats from 11am
Please note: if you're queuing, there are 50 of each hat and that's it. That's one hat per person on a first come first served basis. That's one hat each, not one of each hats or two of one etc etc. Once they're done and gone that's it. We appreciate the hats can be in far bigger demand than are actually available....that's the whole point!
*We reserve to right to refuse a sale or end our participation at any point if we believe it to be in the best interests.
Please note : the opening times advertised on the flyer are for the event, we are partaking in the event as a guest brand amongst several other sellers, our attendance times may depend on the availability of stock. There are a bunch of great brands on offer so be sure to pay it a visit and have a good look around, this most certainly isn't just about CC and the Weirs.
Terms and conditions apply with the event, it is strictly a *cash only event too, no other form of payments will be accepted or available at the event. Please ensure you are prepared in advance to avoid any problems as we cannot do any reservations. Let's make it simple and easy for us all.
*All items sold are as final stock sales, no exchanges or refunds are available whatsoever.

It's a wonderful check of a mix of lovely colours on a heavy cotton/flannel. Featuring a smaller 2" button down collar, button top pocket with dual branded woven tab. Two large hand pockets at the hem. Box pleat and locket loop, finished off with genuine Mother of Pearl buttons and contrasting button thread detail.

That's right it's the first Weir this winter we're selling. Okay there's already been three released thus far and a hybrid with Trickett!
Our collabos with Outskirts Moscow (our stock of those will be online next week), then the exclusive for Hip Store Leeds. And of course the most recent; a collabo with Overkill in Berlin a tie in with their recent adidas Consortium Equipment Racing '93 "Taxi" release.
This one is another adidas themed one, this time a collabo with Peter O'Toole and Quote based on their trainer release from last year.
This one is online tomorrow evening, 7pm from both ours and Peter's webshops. TC

Tonight see's the return of cult 00's brand Rather Not Say as a collaboration with ourselves.
The release is three alternate coloured rugby shirts featuring two colour hoop designs made from a cotton poly mix and featuring two button contrast white collar! Like many football fans we absolutely dislike rugby quite a bit, but do like a classic rugby shirt, purely as a wardrobe piece. With Pink/Green, Orange/Navy and Yellow/Sky you can add a nice bit of colour to the forthcoming grey months. They're toasty too.
As always Made in England in limited numbers. Online at 7pm from the shop.
The first 30 sales will receive a free enamel badge to boot because we're dead nice like that. TC

|Adventurer Ken Crutchlow running across Death Valley in 1970.|
|Selfie from Jacob at Clarks Originals|
The eagerly awaited Clarks Desert Boots collection is finally available, this has been a great project for us to work on with one of our favourite brands. As a tie-in to the 65th anniversary of the famous Desert Boot, we were asked about doing a take on this not often seen sweater from a rare black and white photo. Worn by British athlete Ken Crutchlow in 1970 when he ran across America's treacherous Death Valley in this home made sweatshirt, a pair of Desert boots, a bowler hat and a brolly. Yes, it was a bet.
The stand out piece is the sweatshirt, coming in a loopback Organic Grey marl jersey with V insert collar and black Flock fabric lettering. To accompany this, we also have a tee with the Navy and Red colours which we were lucky enough to see via the Clarks archive. We also have a 'Ken' design too illustrated by Peter O'Toole.
All available online tomorrow from 7pm. Limited to one per person on the sweatshirts.

That's right. Those Weir bobble hats have become a cult in themselves of the course of the last seven years, released in limited, non-repeated colourways they've caused a massive hoohah and upset people too every winter with demand for them incredible selling faster than tickets for Glastonbury and the like as went live and sold out in seconds.
This one, the TWEIR designed and made with TRiCKETT is like a hybrid version, made with Shetland wool, featuring a lovely bunch of shades in the wool, wool lined for extra toastiness and also features C X T detailing as well as contrasting navy top and extra dense pom pom. You can read more details here. The hat will be available from both webshops this Friday at 7pm. Limited numbers produced as always, "fastest fngers first" and all that, usual rules and terms apply. Tomorrow sees the release of our next pin badge, it's been a while and with the return of Rather Not Say due soon we thought this was pretty appropriate. The logo is of course based on the 'Retour A La Normale' poster from the student uprisings of 1968 - meaning Return to Normal. (Not based on Derby County okay!) so add a bit of history to your collars. It's online tomorrow at 7pm GMT (usual rules apply).
Monday see's one of the first hat's of many over the coming months. 'The Garber'
